Working Hours: Night Shift, 37.5 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday
Salary: £25,989, plus night shift allowance of £7,825 and a discretionary annual bonus of £900 (£34,714.00 P/A)
Total Staff Services are currently recruiting a number of Hygiene/Preparation Operatives for one of our clients based in Runcorn. Candidates will be required to have prior experience within Aseptic Units or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing as this is essential for the role.
Our client is a patient nutrient manufacturer within the pharmaceutical industry. We currently have a number of vacancies for their night shift to join the Hygiene and Preparation team where you will be required to strip down and clean the aseptic rooms and prepare the compounding units for production the following day. Due to the nature of the work carried out in the units, its essential that they are cleaned to the standards expected prior to products being produced.
Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 2200-0600, 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Working within the aseptic unit, you will be gowned as well as wearing any other required PPE as well as following SOPs in place.
Stripping down the automated pumping machinery prior to cleaning, disposing of waste correctly and performing line clearance at the end of production.
Preparing the Grade B rooms ready for the cleaning of Grade A cabinets and isolators.
Cleaning the Grade A cabinets and machines according to the method ensuring all paperwork is completed.
Transferring ingredients and inlets into the Grade A cabinet as per SOP ready for a compounder to spike.
Prepare the bill of materials for the following days production.
Ensuring the cleaning of the aseptic suite has been performed prior to entry into Grade B.
Working to a production plan delivering batches to the compounding schedule.
Transferring raw materials into the compounding suites.
Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed in a timeline manner and in line with the SOP.
Ensuring the appropriate and correct disposal of waste from the manufacturing area in accordance with procedures.
Recording any issues that may affect the quality or efficiency and communicating them effectively.
Essential Requirements:
Experience within Pharmaceutical Manufacturing or Aseptic Units.
The ability to work alone as well as part of a team.
Trained in manual handling procedures as well as Health and Safety awareness including COSHH familiarity.
A strong understanding of cGMP requirements.
Excellent communication skills.
Interview Process and On-Boarding:
During the interview process for this role, candidates will be required to complete basic English and Math assessments on site. If you are successful following interview, ALL candidates will also be required to take part in an Occupational Health Review prior to starting. This is a standard procedure for anyone joining the team.
