Student Accommodation Induction Support Staff - Nottingham
We are currently recruiting candidates to support the busy period of new student arrivals in Nottingham student accommodation. The work will take place over the course of 1 weekend in September 2022 - please see below for dates.
During this weekend new students will be moving into their accommodation and may be visiting Leicester for the first time. Your role will be welcoming students and giving directional information to help them find their way around the building that they will be living in while they complete their studies.
Duties will include:
Meeting and greeting new students and families arriving at accommodation buildings across the city.
Managing car park flow.
Ensuring drop-off points have maximum space.
Marshalling queues to ensure Health & Safety Guidelines are maintained throughout.
Giving directional information and helping with enquiries around the building.
Distributing welcome packs and keys to new students.
Dates: Friday 16th, Saturday 17th and Sunday18th September
Hours of work: Various shifts between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm
Pay: 9.90 an hour
This is a really unique opportunity to be involved in welcoming Nottingham University's newest arrivals and ensuring that their check-in experience is made as easy as possible.
The role would really suit current students who can talk about their first year experiences and give advice/information on student life in the city.
