Total Staff Services are currently recruiting Labourers for one of our clients in Ellesmere Port. This position is working for a galvanizing company where you will be working alongside the team within the company to help complete the galvanizing processes whilst ensuring efficient work is completed. Ideal candidates would have previous work experience within similar roles/industries as the work is manual. Prior to starting, a drug and alcohol test will be carried out.
You will be working on a rotating shift pattern, one week you will work 0600-1400 and the following will be 1400-2200, candidates are required to work both shifts so must be flexible.
Duties will Include:
Working alone as well as part of a team.
Carrying out tasks and completing them within the time frame.
Preparing steel on site.
Treating steel.
Unloading and loading heavy goods into wagons.
Heavy lifting.
Adhering to any health and safety policies in place on site.
This role is initially temporary however does have the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. You will work for 12 weeks through the agency and then your progress will be reviewed. £11.18ph.
