Job Title: Handyperson Void Room Maintenance (Student Accommodation)
Location: Liverpool (City Centre)
Pay Rate: 13.12 14.70 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:00pm
Contract: Temporary (Immediate Start Summer Turnaround Project)
Were hiring a skilled and proactive Handyperson to join a large student accommodation site in Liverpool for the busy summer turnaround period.
The focus of this role is on void room maintenance particularly small fixes and sealing work (e.g. sinks, showers, and bathrooms) to prepare rooms for incoming students. This is a practical, fast-paced job ideal for someone with good attention to detail and confident working with silicone sealant and basic tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect recently vacated rooms for minor maintenance issues
Re-seal sinks, showers, and bathroom fittings to a professional standard
Carry out minor repairs such as fixing fittings, loose furniture, and general wear-and-tear
Identify and report more complex issues for follow-up
Work from a task list or PDA to ensure efficient turnaround
Ensure all work is completed safely, cleanly, and on time
What Were Looking For:
Experience in a handyperson, property maintenance, or similar trade-based role
Confident and competent in using silicone sealant sealing sinks, bathrooms, showers, etc.
Good DIY skills and practical problem-solving ability
Able to work independently to a high standard
Reliable, organised, and used to working in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working on multiple rooms per day with a team
This is an ideal role for someone with practical experience in minor maintenance, especially sealing and finishing, whos available to work full-time through the summer period.
