This is a newly created role that offers the successful candidate the chance to build something from the ground up, with the full backing of the leadership team.
The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a creative, commercially minded, and hands-on Marketing & Brand Development Executive to help shape their brand, drive awareness, and increase market visibility. The role will work alongside an external agency, with the goal of building accountability and ownership of marketing activities over the next 12 months.
The successful candidate will also play a key part in identifying new opportunities, responding to inbound sales enquiries, and helping to develop clear messaging around the full scope of the companys services.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a standalone marketing role with room to grow and make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Development & Management:
Take ownership of the brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and materials.
Review and enhance company messaging to reflect the full range of services and avoid market pigeonholing.
Work with senior leadership to shape and articulate the companys value proposition.
Marketing Strategy & Execution:
Liaise with the existing external marketing agency to manage ongoing activity.
Develop and deliver an integrated marketing plan covering digital, social media, content creation, email marketing, and events.
Manage and enhance the company website and online presence.
Lead Generation & Sales Support:
Monitor and respond to incoming sales enquiries, qualifying leads, and ensuring timely follow-up.
Support the creation of proposals, case studies, and presentations as needed.
Identify new routes to market and build brand awareness through targeted campaigns.
Market & Competitor Insight:
Conduct market research to keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
Use insights to inform content creation and marketing strategies
Internal Communications & Culture:
Promote consistent internal communication to embed brand values and culture within the organisation.
Support staff engagement and communications initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a marketing, communications, or brand development role (in-house or agency).
Strong digital marketing, content creation, and social media management skills.
Able to build relationships across all levels and manage external agency relationships.
Commercially aware with an understanding of how marketing drives business development.
Organised, self-sufficient, and proactive in shaping a new role.
Creative thinker with excellent attention to detail.
Experience with digital tools such as Canva, WordPress, Mailchimp, and LinkedIn preferred.
